Liverpool University Carnatic Halls of Residence

The accommodation used by our visiting teams during the tournament week is Liverpool University Carnatic Halls of Residence. Set in beautiful private parkland the Carnatic site is ideally situated. It is only a ten-minute walk from the soccer playing fields and a fifteen-minute drive from Liverpool City Centre. There is a train station and bus stops nearby with links to Liverpool City Centre, and restaurants and a supermarket are situated near to the playing fields. Teams will be greeted by our tournament office staff upon arrival and will be given a Welcome Meeting in order to familiarise yourselves with the staff and also the accommodation site and surrounding area, home to your team for the duration of your stay.

Rooms

The accommodation comprises of fully carpeted single bedrooms each with a desk, chair, wardrobe and drawers and also a wash-basin. Showers, baths, toilets and kitchens are provided for each corridor, which accommodates 20 rooms.

Meals

All guests take their meals at the state-of-the-art Carnatic House restaurant, which can accommodate over 500 guests at one sitting. Accommodation is provided on either a Bed & Breakfast rate, or a Dinner, Bed & Breakfast rate.

Laundry Facilities

There are laundry facilities available for use in each accommodation block at a cost of £2 per wash and £1 per tumble dry.

Extras

The accommodation also has a lot of open green space for children to play during their free time. The Herculaneum Room, an impressively sized function room will also be turned into a disco on some evenings, and there are Junior Common Rooms with TV's and DVD Players for teams to enjoy.

If your team or visiting parents would prefer to stay in a hotel in Liverpool, then please contact us. We offer some great hotels in the city centre close to shops, restaurants and visitor attractions.
